Graveside funeral services for Randy Collins, 66, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery in Wilcox, County. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 at the funeral home.
Randy died Sunday night, Feb. 1, 2015, at Tift Regional Medical Center. He was born in Wilcox County, Georgia to the late James Aubin Collins and the late Nina Elizabeth Davidson Collins. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Janelle Hobbs and Jackie Collins.
Randy was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for Panther as well as FedEx. He was retired aircraft mechanic with 20 years service from the Robins Air Force Base. He was an United States Air Force Vietnam veteran.
He is survived by his wife: Lynn Collins of Ashburn; his son: Spence Collins of Pitts; his daughter: Melanie Faircloth, Pitts; his siblings: Timmy Collins of Pitts, Maurice Collins of Warner Robins, Marian Malaier of Athens, Carol Buchanan of Athens and Shannon Walters of Cordele; and eight grandchildren.
