"Scottsdale, Ariz. - Charles "Chuck" Dagenet, 83, died Friday, Dec. 24, 1999.
Services were held Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at Messinger Mortuary and Chapel. Ret. Master Sgt. Dagenet was a First Batallion Sergeant Major of Special Forces for the U.S. Army. He was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion, Post 17 (Leroy Belk, Camden, S.C.). He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. He moved to Arizona from South Carolina six years ago.
Survivors are his wife, Justina Dagenet of Scottsdale, Ariz.; daughter, Chantelle Daizadeh of Scottsdale, Ariz.; step-daughter, Vicki Smith; two sons, Phil Dagenet of Paradise Valley, Ariz. and Ken Dagenet of Greensboro; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Disabled American Veterans, 38 W. Dunlap, Phoenix, Ariz. 85021."
