Louise Virginia Bowman Crouch, age 90, passed away at Taylorsville House, on Sunday, February 1, 2015. Born July 31, 1924, in Alexander County, to the late Smith L. and Pansie P. Bowman, she was retired from Chaircraft. She was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years, Elbert H. Crouch. Six siblings preceded her, JD, Ralph, Burrell, and Ray Bowman as well as two sisters, Kay and Carolyn.

Survivors include one son, Curtis Crouch and wife Mercedes of Raleigh; two daughters, Faye Bumgarner and husband Rowe, of Taylorsville, and Janice Buston and husband John, of Taylorville. Louise has one brother Thurston Bowman, of Thomasville; and one sister Evelyn Bowman of Conover. There are six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Burial will take place at Mt. Herman Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February, 3, 2015, with visitation beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the church and the funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Paul Schronce will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
