He was born October 18, 1939 in McCreary County, Kentucky to the Leonard Kidd and Madie Vanover Kidd. Bob was of the Baptist Faith and attended First Baptist Church of Oneida. He was a faithful member of W. O. West's Men's Adult Bible Sunday School class. Bob, having been a retired truck driver, a Wal-Mart employee for several years, and a current bus driver for the Oneida Special School District, had a special love for the children he worked with, the community, and the people he came into contact with.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Tonya Marie Kidd Roberts; Grandparents: Walter and Nora Perry Vanover and Manuel and Anna Jane Kidd; Sister: Betty Lee Kidd; Brother: Jerry "Pud" Kidd; Father-in-law: Cledith Wright; Brother-in-law: Bob Wright.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Gayla Wright Kidd; Son: Tony Kidd; Daughter-in-law: Linda Kidd; (4) Grandsons: Bo Kidd, Tim, Dalton and Jaden Roberts: Sisters Connie Sue Hill and husband Don, Doris Jean Reagan of Kentucky, Judy Dykes of Georgia, Sandra Kidd, Crystal Hinkle, Courtney Phillips all of Kentucky; Brothers: Michael Kidd, Tim Kidd and Gary Kidd and wife Teresa of Kentucky; Special Aunt and Uncle: Donna and Tom Frost and Otis Kidd; Mother-in-law: Gladys Wright; Sister-in-law: Sheila Sexton and husband George; Sister-in-law: Margaret Wright; Brothers-in-law: Darrell Wright and wife Barbara, Roger Wright and wife Sandy; Special Friends and co-workers: Todd Lay and Tim Owens, and many other nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
