Anna Csokay Nicely Cooke

She was the daughter of Johann and Sophie Harring Csokay.

She is survived by two daughters, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Elwood Nicely; her second husband, Eldridge Cooke; two sons, Roger Nicely and Randolph Nicely; one brother, Emmerich Csokay and one sister, Mitzi Muhm.

Mrs. Cooke retired in 1992 from Jackson River Internists as a medical assistant.

She was a member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, the Friendship Circle of the Church, and the Rainbow Garden Club.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doug Hollenbeck officiating.

The interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be David Tomes, Bobby Cutlip, Paul Dressler, Jackie Keyser, Roger Amos, James Frame, Gene Crowder and Jr. McCoy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gordon Dalton and Chad Gilbert.

The family suggests that memorial donations in Mrs. Cooke's name may be made to Mount Carmel United Church, 1200 N. Alleghany Ave., Covington, VA 24426.
