LAMB, Russell A. Age 60, of Clearcreek Township left his life on earth, Heaven Bound, Wednesday, November 17, 2004. Born May 19, 1944, in Oregonia, the son of Willard and Myrtle (Turner) Lamb. He retired from Armco Steel in Middletown in 2002. A life long resident of Warren County, Russ was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather and a devoted Christian. A member of the Anchor of Hope Church of God, he was a Sunday School Teacher for over thirty years.

Russell served as a Board member of the Springboro School District and was an outstanding athlete at Little Miami High School, where several of his achievements in Track and Field still stand as a school records today. Precede in death by his father, Willard Lamb, he is survived by his loving and devoted wife of forty years, Linda (Sams) Lamb of Clearcreek Township; dear mother, Myrtle Lamb of South Lebanon; four sons, Brian (Cindy), Dave (Heidi) and Andy, all of Springboro and Brad (Angela) Lamb of North Carolina; brothers, Glendon of Waynesville, Jay and Bill, both of Lebanon, Earl of Morrow and Marvin of Wilmington; sisters, Beulah Driscoll, Lina Cochran and Thelma Peyton, all of Lebanon, Lena Davis of Waynesville, Betty Cochran of Wilmington and Sharon Elam of Alabama, and nine grandchildren, Rachael, Zachary, Lillie, Logan, Lexin, Landree, Zander, Braxton and Brycen Lamb. Visitation Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, November 20, 2004 from Noon to 1:00 p.m. with funeral service following all at Anchor of Hope Church of God, Settlemire Road, Lebanon with Bro. Bill Lamb officiating. Burial will be in the Miami Cemetery, Corwin, Ohio. Memorial requested to the Anchor of Hope Church of God. Arrangements entrusted to Stine-Kilburn Funeral Home, Lebanon.
