Greta Jo Hicks Wright, 93, passed away November 14, 2014 at her home in Quitman, Arkansas. She was born October 2, 1921 in Quitman, Arkansas to the late A.C. and Lena Smith Mix.

She has gone to be with her God and her babies that went before her. She retired from UAMS in Little Rock and moved back to Quitman, Arkansas to live. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved children and working in her beautiful yard.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Hicks and sons Billy David Hicks and Johnny Hicks and a brother J.T. Mix.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband C.D. Wright; daughter Marilyn Holland; granddaughter Shelby Leigh Holland; great-granddaughter Dorothy Jo Holland; sisters Viola Jean Neel, Nita Faye Hicks, and Data Marie Cari; brother Howard C. Mix; stepchildren Eddie Wright, Diane Moody and Melinda Snider; six step-grandchildren and eleven step great-grandchildren plus many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at Olmstead Funeral Home on Sunday, November 16, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, November 17, 2014 in the Olmstead Chapel with Rev. Jim Ward and Rev. Mitch Vickers officiating. Interment will follow in the Pearson Cemetery.
