MRS. ELLNA JENSEN, aged 75 years, was found dead at her home in this city early Thursday morning at about 6 O'clock by her daughter, Mrs. Bennett Monk. Apparently she had died but a few minutes before her daughter came to see her. Dr. Winters was summoned and it was found that she had died from heart failure or stroke. Mrs. Jensen had lived alone for a long time, but had been given every care that she needed by her daughter.

Mrs. Jensen was born in Mallmo, Sweden, Oct. 5, 1838. She became the wife of Jens Jensen 1859, and after becoming a member of the LDS Church they came to Utah in the year 1860, making their home first at Lehi. In 1864 they came to Mount Pleasant where she made her home permanently. She was the mother of four children, Mrs. Bennett Monk, Mrs. Emma Jarvis of Santa Quin, Mrs. Ellen Barnhart of Salt Lake City, and John, who died at the age of 2. She has been a widow for about forty-five years.
