“Lora M. Montoney, 87, of Circleville, formerly of Columbus, died on April 28, 1992 at Pickaway Manor Care Center. She was a member of Grove City United Methodist Church and was a former active member at Oakwood and Westgate United Methodist Churches, Columbus Area Mother Singers, Motion Picture Council of Columbus, O. S. U. Theta Mother’s Club, and the Parents Association of the Indianola School for the Deaf. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hayward, 1980. Survivors include her daughter, Rita Montoney of Columbus; sons, Dr. William (Eileen) Montoney of Orient, Dean (Carol) Montoney of Reynoldsburg; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Beulah Pace of Washington; sister-in-law, Jane Thompson of Grove City and Florida. Services were held on April 29 at Grove City United Methodist Church with Rev. William Hines and Rev. Eugene Frazier officiating. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Association, 2323 W. Fifth Avenue, Columbus, OH 43204. Arrangements were by Schoedinger-Norris Chapel, Grove City.”
