Harry C, Singles of Mechanic street died Thursday afternoon at Riverview hospital, where he had been a patient for three days. He was 60 years old. Mr. Singles was born at Darby, Pennsylvania, and had resided at Red Bank for the past 20 years. At the time of this death he was acting manager of the Shady Knoll hotel at Fair Haven. Mr. Singles was a member of Prospect lodge of Masons of Darby. Surviving, besides his wife, Mrs. Viola Chadwick Singles, are three brothers, Colonel Walter Singles of Eastport, Maine, Robert Singles of Darby and Charles Singles of Philadelphia. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the funeral parlors of R. R. Mount & Son, West Front street, with Rev. Christian H. Walvoord, pastor of the Red Bank Reformed church, officiating. The bearers, six nephews, were Freeholder Joseph C. Irwin, Edwin and Charles Irwin, William Chadwick, Edgar Wymbs and William Emmons. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.
