DOVER — June M. Clacher, 77, of Dover, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015 at home surrounded by her children.

She was born on April 1, 1937 in Warrington, England. She was a military bride to James P. Clacher and spent many years traveling the world. June was the Queen Mother of the Red Hat Group “The Ever Reddy’s”. She was a past president of the D.A.V. Auxiliary and member of the American Legion. She was also a member of the “Stepping Seniors”. June enjoyed knitting and crafting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Clacher..

She is survived by four children, Paul Clacher, Theresa Thompson (David), Angela Hodge, James Clacher (Angela); five grandchildren, Christopher Thompson, Melanie Busser, Michael Umstead, Ryan Umstead, and Stephen Hodge.

A Mass of Christian burial will be 12 p.m., Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Holy-Cross Catholic Church in Dover. The viewing will be held one hour prior at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Burial will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery Camden.

The family request that memorial contributions be given to Delaware Hospice, 911 South Du Pont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901.
