Loretta Lucy Jeske passed away Sunday January 25, 2015 at her home in West De Pere. Her kindness, generosity and love touched the lives of countless people and her pure heart was an inspiration to all who knew her.Loretta was born in Springhill, IL on May 3, 1923 to the late Charles and Grace (Franks) Redell. Her 10 siblings preceded her in death: Helen, Dale, Ethelyn, Blair, June, Glen, Junior, Elaine, Zola and Jed.She was married to James C. Blean from 1942 to 1973 and they raised 4 children: Judy Valentine, Colorado Springs, CO; Janis Blean-Kachigan (Terry Kachigan), Greendale, WI; Jim (Lori) Blean, Green Bay, WI; and Joel (Carolyn) Blean, West De Pere.Loretta married Alfred J. Jeske on December 8, 1973 at Peace United Methodist Church in Kaukauna and he survives her after 41 years of marriage. She is also survived by Alfred's children: Frieda Ann (Ken) Haas, Omaha, NE; and Keith (Pam) Jeske, Little Chute, WI; and his sisters: Adeline Dobesh of Green Bay and Mary Baseman of Appleton. Alfred's son Walter passed away in 2002. Also preceding Loretta in death are Alfred's siblings: Altine, May, Allen and Elmer; and brothers-in-law: Joe Dobesh and Richard Baseman. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Robin King, Jessica (Todd) Campbell, Jennifer Attenberger, Samuel Koski, Levi (Cynthia) Koski, Jessi (Matt) Roherty and their son Lincoln, Isaac Blean, Nathan Blean, Chad (Bridget) Blean, Kelly (Jamie) Barrette, Kristin (Steven) Vander Bloomen, Heather (Michael) Huber, Erin Eichhorst, Erica Eichhorst, Elisa (Jay) Richardson, Jamie Jeske and Josh Jeske; great grandchildren: Madeline, Jackson, Zack, Kendra, Logan, Mason, Ethan, Rorey, Carsyn, Mirabel and Trey; and great great grandchildren: Christal, Damian, Aiden and Skyla.Loretta worked 18 years as secretary treasurer of Northern Hardwood and Pine Manufacturers Association. She also worked on various fundraising efforts which included the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame, Hazelwood Historical Site and Heritage Hill State Park. Her last 15 years were spent at the West De Pere School District Food Service Program. This was her favorite job as she loved the daily interaction with the children and her co-workers. Loretta also served for over 25 years as Choir Director and pianist at Peace United Methodist Church in Kaukauna. Music was one of her greatest joys and she tried to play the piano or the organ every day.She will truly be missed by all.Visitation will be held Thursday January 29, 2015 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday at PEACE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH (2300 Wisconsin Ave. Kaukauna) from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Lucretia Fehrmann will officiate. Committal Kelso Cemetery.
