James L. Speheger, 93, of Grand Rapids, Mich. and formerly of Bluffton,
passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, at Spectrum Health Care in Grand
Rapids, Mich.
James was born March 27, 1921, in Bluffton to Charles Speheger Sr. and Mary
Meyer Speheger. He was in the United States Air Force from 1942 to 1946.
He was a retired chemist at General Tire Company and attended the
Apostolic Christian Church.
Survivors include a sister, Ann Pollard of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a niece, Leisa
(Paul) Snow of East Grand Rapids, Mich.; and two great-nephews, Nathaniel
and Noah Snow of East Grand Rapids, Mich.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Speheger Jr., March 2, 2011.
Services will be held at a later date at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
Burial will be at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Bluffton.
Services are entrusted to the Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in
Bluffton.
Memorials may be made to the Friends of the Shelter in Bluffton.
