Vansant, VA- Judy Boyd, age 61 of JWB Hollow, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012 at her home. Born in Tazewell County, she was a daughter of the late Herby and Nancy Stapleton Fuller. She was last employed as manager of a Domestic Violence Shelter and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Lee Boyd.
Survivors include her mother, Rachel Fuller, three daughters, Regina (Randy) Owens, Debbie (Jimmy) Lester and Rhonda (Don) Mullins all of Haysi, grandchildren, Brandon (Tiffany) Bennett, Bryan (Allisa Rowe) Bennett, Cody and Lekeisha Mullins and Emilee and Kayley Lester, a great-grandson, Brayden Bennett, two step-grandchildren, Derek Owens and Josh Owens, two sisters, Rosie Hale of Lebanon and Ginger Lawson of NC, two brothers, Randy (Brenda) Fuller of Clintwood and Ricky (Donna) Fuller of Council, mother and father-in-law, Sidney and Opal Boyd, a special aunt, Betty Deel, and several sisters and brothers-in-law.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Haysi Funeral Home with Denver Barton officiating. Burial will follow in Blankenship Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Pallbearers will be Brandon Bennett, Bryan Bennett, Cody Mullins, Don Mullins, Jimmy Lester and Randy Owens. Brayden Bennett will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
