Born March 16, 1917, Mt. Pleasant, to Abram Vance and Florence Karner Munsen McIntosh. Married Henry Charlton Jacobs, III, June 22, 1939, Manti LDS Temple. Retired schoolteacher. Member LDS Church. Former president, YWMIA. Stake backeeper, 14 years. Ward librarian, 10 years. Active in all church auxiliaries. Accomplished in art, genealogy and needlework. Member, Mt. Pleasant Pioneer historical Assn., in charge of museum. member, Fine Arts Club. Former president, Jaycettes and Lady Lions. Taught a local elementary school for 34 years.
Survivors; husband; son, Henry Charlton IV, Orem; daughters, Mrs. Norman (Karen) Shelley, Roosevelt; Mrs. Dean (Annette) Hansen, Fountain Green; brothers, Edwin, Dugway; Don, Pueblo Colo.; sister, Mrs. William (Jean) Kennedy, Oakland, Calif.; 8 grandchildren.
