She died in 1822 but not before giving birth to at least 5 children that are known. Her two oldest children, Mary Ann and Sally Cleavenger stayed with their aunt and uncle in Harrison County instead of moving to the wilds of Illinois with their father. The oldest son, John Cleavenger moved with his dad to Wayne County Illinois and raised a family of 14 before he passed away in abt 1856. Mary Ann's youngest daughter, Margaret Cleavenger, aka "Aunt Peggy" also was living in Illinois at some juncture. Mary Ann Cleavenger's youngest child, Bailey Cleavenger, stayed in West Virginia and fought in the Civil War. An account of his 1862 death is in the National Archives Pension records.
Bailey Cleavenger is named for his maternal grandfather, Bailey Night/Knight.
