Hannah Austin Wood, reported to be the daughter of Stephen "Captain Baldy" Austin and Dorcas Pinson Austin (looking for source), married William A. "Dancin Bill" Wood between 1799 and 1805. They first moved from Tennessee to Arkansas in 1818. They had nearly 15 children from 1805 to 1833, and many stories were written about this Marion County Arkansas family in the "Brambling Bush".

Burial Site: Hannah's husband for 60 years, William A. Wood, was buried on private property at Johnnie's Creek Cemetery west of Yellville, Arkansas. Hannah died in the same area 5 years after her husband. A search of cemeteries in the area didn't find her grave, including in the nearby George's Creek Cemetery which wasn't established until after her death.

It's been assumed she would have been buried near her husband in Johnnie's Creek Cemetery.
