POINT PLEASANT —Jody Lynn Jones, 44, of Point Pleasant, passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, at Pleasant Valley Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 17, 1970, in Mason County, a daughter to the late Jack C. Kerwood, and Lucy Caruthers, of Point Pleasant. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her father Jack C. Kerwood; brother Howard Foster; and niece Brandi J. Kerwood.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jesse Jones, of Point Pleasant; mother Lucy Caruthers, of Point Pleasant; son Justin Michael and (Morgan) Kerwood, of Mason, W.Va.; daughters Kristin and (Andy) Martin, Chloe Jones and Riley Jones, all of Point Pleasant; five grandchildren, Jack Kerwood, Callie Kerwood, Bradyn Compton, Carter Martin and Addison Reed; and a host of friends and neighbors. She will be sadly missed by all.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with the Rev. Jonathon Pinson officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Cemetery in New Haven. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. prior to the service Thursday.
