Funeral services for John J. Williamson, of 1128 N. Tenth St. and formerly of Bissell, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Staab funeral home with Rev. H.M. Hildebrandt officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn cemetery.
Mr. Williamson died at 9:17 a.m. yesterday in St. John's hospital at the age of 66.
Mr. Williamson was born at Barclay on Dec. 13, 1889, the son of John and Eleanor Miller Williamson, and was married on Aug. 30, 1921 in Springfield to Mary Fox.
Mr. Williamson moved to Springfield 10 years ago from Bissell and was employed by the Springfield housing authority until last February when he retired because of poor health.
He was a member of the Methodist church and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Lowe; a grandson, Jackie Lowe; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Becker, of Riverton; Mrs. Eleanor Crane and Mrs. Elizabeth Garden, both of Springfield; several nephews, nieces and cousins.
