Benny R. King, 76, of Bluffton, IN, passed away in his sleep at 6:49AM at his residence with his family beside him. Benny was born June 22, 1938 in Great Bend, KS, the son of Nile Leon and Clarissa (Tucker) King. He graduated from Bluffton High School in 1956. Benny married Sharon G. Metheny on October 26, 1985 in Bluffton, IN. Benny had worked for I&M (AEP) Power Company for 40 years, retiring in 1999. Benny was a lifetime member of the Circle W Riders and also a member of the Horse and Pony Club of the Bluffton Street Fair. Benny is survived by his Wife, Sharon G. King, Bluffton, Sons; Tim (Leann) King, Geneva, FL, Chris King, Murfreesboro, TN, Joe King, Milwaukee, WI, David King, Bluffton and Matthew Gibson, Warsaw, Daughters; Marjorie (Tom) Lister, Decatur and Gina (Chad Lamons) Azzara, Markle, Grandchildren; Tara (Shane) Disheaux, Fort Wayne, Bryant King, Oveido, FL, Julia King, Geneva, FL, Kayden King, Bluffton, Guy Lister, Decatur, Ava Lister, Decatur, Nick Dellinger, Markle, Great-Grandchildren, Gianna, Landon and Elliott. Benny was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be Held Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home, 308 West Washington St., Bluffton from 10:00AM to 3:00PM. Interment will follow in the Stahl Cemetery, Petroleum. Memorials may be made in Benny’s name to the Wells County 4-H Association.
