Melinda A. Gentry, 89, former resident of Spring Hill, died Monday morning in Indianapolis, IN, where she had lived with her daughter for a number of years.

Services will be conducted at 11 am Saturday at St. Mark UPB Church in Spring Hill. Visitation with the family will be from 7-9 pm at the church. Elder W.H. Fuqua, Washington Green, Saint Clair Lockridge and R.L. Secrest will officiate.

Burial will be in Newtown Cemetery.

Survivors include five daughters: Mrs. Hollie M. Steele, Mrs. Clara G. Fleming, both of Spring Hill, Mrs. Willie B. Gentry, Nashville, Mrs. Odell Gentry, Mrs. Charlie Smith, both of Indianapolis, IN; son Willie L. Gentry, Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Flower ladles will be members of St. Mark UPB Church. Wright's Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.

The remains will be conveyed to St. Mark's U.P. Baptist Church, Spring Hill, Tn. this Friday, Jan. 29, where visitation with the Family will be from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Saturday, Jan. 30, from the above church at 11:00 a.m. conducted by the Pastor, Rev. William H. Fuqua with Words of Comfort by other Ministers.

Pallbearers will be Grandsons. Flowerladies will be Mothers.

Interment New Town Cemetery.
