She was born Sept. 7, 1910, in Lehigh, Kansas, the daughter of Peter K. and Katherine (Nikkel) Friesen. A resident of Moundridge for 12 years, she was a homemaker.
She belonged to Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, Buhl, Idaho.
On Feb. 5, 1956, she married Peter K. Martens in Glenn, California. He died March 16, 1983.
Survivors include three stepsons, two stepdaughters, and a brother.
Arrangements are pending in Buhl. Burial will be in Buhl Mennonite Church Cemetery.
