The Lord has taken another angel home. Dr. Ricky D. Parker moved over from this life to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday, January 30th. Ricky Parker married Artina McNutt and together they had 7 children. He was a husband, father, grandfather, pastor, and friend to many. He served in the ministry for 43 years, during this time he started several churches and also schools in Africa and the Phillipines. He had so much more to do but God said that his work here is done and he will live on thru those left behind.

He is preceded in death by his son, Nathan Wade; parents, Archie and Lureane Parker; and in-laws, S.T. and Inez McNutt.

Those left to cherish Ricky's memories are his wife of 50 years, Artina Parker; children: Ronda Ford, Sharon Page (Harry), Tambra Parker, Christine Parker, Andrea Parker, and Brandon Parker; one brother, Eddie Parker (Jan). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Kristin (Travis) and children, Mason, Caleb, Callie, and Maddie; Shay (Candace) and children, Colby, Charley, Harlie, and Carlie; Dakota; Braxton and Jada; Zachary (Brandi) and son Forrest; Jessica (Robby) and children Hayden and Stormy; Rumer; Ashley (Chris) and son, Colton; Hayley (Levi) and children, Seth, Summer and Lazarus; Skyler; Noah; Drew; and Nicole.

Note:
Resthaven Mortuary records show that they handled the cremation of Ricky Dean Parker, but they found no records that his remains being buried at Resthaven Memorial Park.
