Albert Bartsh
ELBA, Minn. — Albert Bartsh, 81, Elba village clerk, died Friday evening at Olmsted Community Hospital, Rochester, after being ill two months.

Mr. Bartsh was born here March 19, 1876, and married Frances Waters in Winona Oct. 30, 1907.
He was a farmer for 45 years before retiring. He was a member of the Elba Lutheran Church and Elba Sportsmen's Club and was village clerk several years.

Survivors are: His wife; five sons, Charles, Elba; Lowell, Zumbrota; Delmar, Missoula, Mont.;
Milton, Minneapolis; and Harold, Utica; one sister, Mrs. Joseph Mettel, Wadena. His parents and
one brother are dead.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Elba Lutheran Church, the Rev. Norbert Reinke officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, St. Charles. Friends may call at Jacobs Funeral Home here from Sunday noon to Monday noon and at the church from noon to 2 p.m.
