Alma Frounfelter, 83, Granville, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005 in a Minot Nursing Home.
Alma Kunkel was born March 2, 1922 in Eckman, ND, the daughter of Edward and Amanda (Wenzel) Kunkel. She was reared and educated in the Glenburn area, graduating from Glenburn High School in May of 1940.
On October 23, 1941, Alma was united in marriage to Guy Frounfelter in Plentywood, MT. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Glenburn. In 1951, they moved to Granville, where they lived and ranched. Alma and Guy also sold haybusters for over 30 years. Guy passed away on April 25, 2002. Alma entered the Trinity Homes on March 1, 2005.
Alma was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Eastern STAR group, ladies aid, American Legion Auxiliary, all of Granville.

Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, Guy, son, Terrance Frounfelter, grandson, Cory Frounfelter, great-granddaughter, Kristina Frounfelter, son-in-law, Larry Herzog, and brothers, Ed, Fred, Delbert, Leonard, LeRoy, Bob, and Lester.
Funeral service: Monday, April 4, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church, Granville, ND
Visitation: Sunday, April 3, 2005 from noon until 5:00 at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot
Burial: Granville Community Cemetery, Granville, ND
