Caroline Baird, 83, of Kelliher died Friday, October 30, 1987 at Northern Pines Good Samaritan Center in Blackduck.
She was born Dec. 29, 1903 at Groton, N.D. She married Floyd Baird on Aug. 1, 1922 at Andover, S.D. They lived at Groton a short while and came Blackduck in 1922. In 1963 she moved to California and came to Kelliher in 1975. She had done volunteer work at the Kelliher nursing home and was a member of Kelliher VFW and American Legion auxiliaries, United Presbyterian Women and a senior citizen group.
She is survived by five sons, three daughters, 25 grandchildren, three brothers, and three sisters.
She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
