Cindy Sue Walker, age 50, died at her home, Monday evening, June 21, 2010.

Born on June 22, 1959 in Easton, MD, she was the daughter of Phyllis Frazier-James and William Edward James of Madison, MD and her biological father the late James E. Walker.

Cindy was raised in Dorchester County. She had worked many years ago for Cambridge House, now Mallard Bay Care Center.

Cindy was known for her kindness and fun personality.

Surviving besides her mother and father are two daughters Megan Walling and her husband Ryan of Quantico, MD and Morgan Walker of Cambridge, MD; three grandchildren Prudence Walling, Asher Walling and Emilia Walker; three brothers Doug Mayhorn, Jack James and his wife Carrie, John James and his wife Bernice; several cousins including Tom Frazier, who she considered a brother; special friend Penny Rovillard, whom she considered a sister; several aunts, uncles, and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 25th at 11:00 a.m. at Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home, P.A. Family friend, Raymond H. Simmons, Jr. will lead the service. Cindy’s final wishes were to be cremated and her ashes scattered in Jamaica.

Memorial offerings may be made to the charity or church of one’s choice in Cindy’s memory.
