Death of Mrs. Marths Chaffin
Mrs. Martha Chaffin, aged 21 years, 814 East Magnolia street, passed on about 11:30 o'clock yesterday in the off of a local physician, death said to be due to internal hemorage. Dr. Pearn, county coroner and county attorney Donald Stewart were called to investigate and are still looking into the case. They decided it was not necessary to hold an inquest. Just what steps will be taken in the matter will be determined within a short time by county attorney Stewart.
Mrs. Chaffin is survive by her husband, three children, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Chadwick, residing west of the city; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Dufran and Mrs. W.J. Ingby, Sioux City, Iowa. She was born on a farm near Bartlesville and has been a resident of this city for only a short time. Funeral arrangements are held up pending arrival of relatives.
