Although it is not possible to say with certainty that Hannah is buried here, it is known that her Sullivan County farm was nearby and her son James is buried here; therefore, this cemetery is selected for her memorial (no legible gravestone exists).
Hannah was the wife of Marshall Galloway (1760-1827) whom she married in 1786 in Baltimore Co., MD. The exact year of her death is uncertain but is believed to be after 1825. Family tradition says that Hannah died as a result of a broken neck sustained when she was thrown from her horse.
