Loren S. Hinkle, 83, Marion,
died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Oct.
13, 1982 at Marion General
Hospital emergency room.
Born in Bringhurst, he lived in
Marion for over 50 years. The
manager of the Marathon Bulk
Plant for 32 years, he was a former
employee of the St. Regis Paper Co.
He was a member of the First
United Methodist Church, Ma-Con-
A-Quah Campers and the Senior
Citizens Club, all in Marion, and
the Flora Masonic Lodge No. 605
F&AM.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie;
two sons, Roger, Denver, Colo, and
Alan, Marion; two stepsons, Robert
Bradford, Marion, and Ralph Bradford,
Northport, Fla.; two brothers,
Wayne, Portland; and John,
Honolulu, Hawaii; two sisters, Nell
Dietz, Flora, and Anna Williams,
Lynn; three grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
Services were held Saturday at the
Raven Funeral Home in Marion
with Dr. Phill Stevens officiating.
Burial was held in Marion IOOF
Cemetery.
