Jennifer L. (Wirsche) Bruce, 46, of Sandusky, unexpectedly went Home to be with the Lord and her mother, Emilia, late Monday morning, Jan. 26, 2015, in her home.
She was born Oct. 7, 1968, in Harlingen, Texas, the daughter of Allan and Emilia (Delgado) Wirsche. She retired from Whirlpool Corp. in Clyde, where she had worked for 17 years.
Jennifer was a beautiful and amazing wife, mother and grandmother and a friend to many. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Jennifer especially loved watching her sons, throughout the years, play baseball. She enjoyed playing Bingo and being involved at her church, NorthPointe Baptist Church, where she was a member.
Jennifer is survived by her husband of 27 years, Ed Bruce, whom she married July 22, 1988; her children, Rachelle Wirsche, J.J. (Brandi) Bruce, Danielle (Zac) Bruce and Cameron (Amber) Bruce; eight grandchildren, Kenneth Schultz III, Alexis Bruce, David Stanley Jr., J.J. Bruce Jr., Jada Cruz, Audrianna Bruce, Jenna Cruz, Emma Bruce and one on the way; father, Allan Wirsche; two brothers, Kenneth Wirsche and Daniel "Patch" Wirsche; two sisters, Paula (Juan) Recio and Donna Wirsche; her special grandmother, Elsie Wirsche; special sister-in-law, Linda Young; and her two cats, Spyra and Buddy.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Emilia (Delgado) Wirsche; brother, Daniel "Peanut" Wirsche; paternal grandfather, Daniel Wirsche; and her two dogs, Boo Boo and Rocko.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, at NorthPointe Baptist Church, 3702 Hayes Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at the church, with the Rev. Wally Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Sackett Cemetery, Marblehead.
