Our early family record keeper, "Herman", has these dates 18 Jul 1857 - 22 Dec 1934. His Death Record gives 18 Jul 1858 - 23 Dec 1934.

George was confirmed in 1870 in Roseville on Palm Sunday.

He married Mary Jane Hunt in 1877 in Leesville, Wayne, Michigan, USA.

He acquired his dad's 4 acre Inn and Brewery. Do we know the name of this business? Duane Kleino said that there are no pictures of this Inn, nor is the building still in existence.

*Just discovered him - not on Herman Carl Seifferlein's notes! He was placed with this couple rather than with John Michael and Louisa Mossner Seifferlein's son, Wm J. Seiffelein. There are two William John Seifferlein's. The other is WJS, the postal carrier born 28 Feb 1892.

"Ina Marie Lindeman Seifferlein mailed her - C. Dale Irene Wheeler (now deceased family historian), this first part of the Seifferleins siblings who split up - part went to East Detroit, Michigan and part went to Frankenmuth, Michigan. They had come from Bavaria, Germany.

For four generations they have been in the Bavarian restaurant business in Frankenmuth, Michigan.http://www.bavarianinn.com/ . Their mother is still with them in the business. They came there as children, their dad with them too. I (Irene) have been told that there is a tunnel under the street to the restaurant on the west side of the street that Fischers used to have at one time. The Bavarian's on the east side cooked food and sent it in the tunnel to the west side restaurant." From Norma Gerber Swartz, Aug 2013"

"Dolores Demmer Gailey reports that all she has on George John is that he purchased his father's estate. The city of Detroit acquired said four acres by condemnation suit for park purposes at a price of $58,267.00, but is now being used for an airport."
