Bob was born April 28, 1923, in Billings. He became an educator after graduating from Montana State University and receiving a master's degree at the University of Montana. He worked in California and Minnesota before coming back to Montana. He worked as a teacher and was a principal at Lockwood Junior High School for 32 years.
Bob met the love of his life, Jan, after pushing her into a swimming pool while working as a lifeguard. Bob and Jan had 63 wonderful years together. They had four children: Linda (he will be visiting with her in Heaven), Mike, Patty and Laurie.
Bob's death is a deeply felt loss. His smile, laughter and humor will always be remembered by his wife, children and extended family.
The family is having a memorial service Saturday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m. at Faith Evangelical Church, 3145 Sweetwater Drive
