Hester ZANE, lived in MO, d. 4-17-1852, married on 10-14-1846 to Chief Paschal FISH (s/o Capt William Jackson > s/o Chief Black) Paschal was born in 1805 in Shawnee Tribe, KS Territory US and died in 1894 in Baxter Springs, Cherokee, KS at age 89. Other names for Paschal were Andrew Jackson Fish, Andrew Jackson, and Paschal Jackson.

"Hetty" was the daughter of General Isaac W. Zane, Jr. and Hanna Dickison. She was born 1816 in Champaign Co., Ohio, died 17 Apr 1852 in Wyandotte, KS, at age 36, and was buried in Huron Indian Cemetery-Wyandotte National Burial Grounds, KC, KS.
They had children: Obadiah age 12 years, Eudora (married Dallas EMMONS; city in KS named after her) age 9, Andrew 1851 and Leander Jackson 1852 (married Julia ?).

Paschal then married Mary Ann STEELE nee McCLURE (b. 1795) after 1852. Paschal also had a foster son, an orphan, who came here and received the same portion of land as his own children, according to an early deed and abstract. A daughter Mary T. FISH was born after 1854.

Paschal then married Martha CAPTAIN (b. 1814) before 1854 and then Jane "Hohthawakese" QUINNEY (1820-1873) in 1859.
