Portales News:
W. C. Terry passed away at the home here in Portales last Sunday morning at 6:15 o'clock.

Mr. Terry was taken ill with the flu about three weeks ago and complications developed which resulted in death. The patient went into a coma Friday evening and from this he never rallied.

Mr. Terry was born in Mississippi sixty-one years ago, but for the last several years has made his home in New Mexico.

He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Misses Pauline, Juanita and Geraldine. Miss Juanita has been ill with the flu since Christmas time and is yet in a serious condition.

Mr. Terry also leaves several sisters and one brother, none of whom were able to attend the funeral. The brother, John Terry of Munday, Tex., is just recovering from an illness and was not strong enough to come, but his wife came to Portales for the services.

The Rev. J. T. Redmon conducted the funeral services at the Methodist church Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock and interment was made in the Portales cemetery.
