Opal Lee McKinney Young, 83, of Morganton, was a daughter of the late Charles B. and Dora Lou Greene McKinney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Young; sisters Myrtle Woodie, Nell Hall, Lillian Davis, and Virgie Carpenter; and brothers Claude McKinney, and Frank McKinney.
Ms. Young was a member of the Morganton First Church of God and retired from the Boxing Department of Alba-Waldensian, Inc.
Interment in Burke Memorial Park.
