Lee, age 69, died Tue, Jan. 27, 2015 at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home, Paris, KY. He was the son of the late Hunter A. and Jonell Cooke Pipes. He attended Bourbon County High School, was a member of First Baptist Church, had worked for the Paris-Bourbon County YMCA and the Kentucky Highway Department, and had served as manager for the Bourbon County High School basketball team. Lee is survived by a brother, Hunter A. (Jennifer) Pipes, Jr., Shelbyville, KY, and a nephew Hunter A. Pipes III, San Francisco, California.
Funeral services will be 1pm Fri., Jan. 30, at First Baptist Church by Rev. Gary Ellcessor with burial in Paris Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11am Friday at the church. Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, Paris, KY in charge of services.
