JUNKIN:
At the Heppner Sanitarium in this city Sunday, August 12, 1906, Frances Ella Junkin wife of Geo. W. Junkin aged 53 years, 8 months, 8 days.
Mrs. Junkin was born near Stayton in Marion County, Oregon. Mr. and Mrs. Junkin were married at Gold Beach in 1871. They came to Morrow County in 1881, settling in the Eight Mile country. About four years ago they moved to Wheeler County in the vicinity of Spray.
Mrs. Junkin was the mother of eleven children of whom eight are living, two daughters being residents of San Francisco, two in Idaho and four children in Morrow County.
Mrs. Junkin possessed a kind and cheerful disposition and was loved by all who knew her.
The remains will be laid to rest Tuesday in the Masonic Cemetery.
