She was a 1952 graduate of Franklin High School, worked as a secretary at Joy Manufacturing Company of Franklin and was the longtime owner/operator of the former Bell Pizzeria of Franklin, helped her parents by acting as bookkeeper at their longtime Franklin business, The Towne Tavern, located along Thirteenth Street. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Farrell, where she was also a member of the church's Philoptochos Society. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Franklin Eagles Club, where she was the present secretary; a member of the Thursday Morning Bowling League of Masterson Family Bowling Lanes in Franklin, of both the Franklin and Oil City V.F.W. Clubs, of both the Franklin and Oil City Public Libraries and a longtime volunteer at the Venango County Humane Society Thrift Shop, located in Franklin. Paramount in her life was her family and extended family, most especially always being a proud grandmother to her two grandchildren.
She was married July 30, 1963, to Charles A. Bell, who preceded her in death Aug. 20, 2013.
She is survived by three daughters, Eugenia M. Zimmer and husband, Nathan, of Erie, Athena Rodgers and husband, Scott, of Slippery Rock, and Shannon C. Bell of Franklin and Shannon's fiance, Randy Everett, also of Slippery Rock; son, Gus Bell and wife Sally Douglas of Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Tyler Bell and Rachel Zimmer; sister, Georgia N. Pandelodis and husband, Nick, of Pittsburgh; brother, Thomas K. Stefanakos and wife, Juva, of Boise, Idaho; godson, Robert Stefanakos and wife, Jen, and their children, Theo and Daphne; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and by her parents.
Trisagion Services (prayers) were in St. John Episcopal Church, 1145 Buffalo St., Franklin, led by Father Spiro Kehayes, pastor of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Farrell. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery.
