Mr. Alton "Buddy" Lynn Anderson, age 82, of Benton, KY died on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. Born Sunday, October 30, 1932 in Sharpe, KY, he was a member of Fairdealing Church of Christ and retired from SKW Alloys in Calvert City, KY.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife of 63 years Doris Holley Anderson; sons, Phillip Lynn Anderson, Terry Douglas Anderson and Stanley Noel Anderson; daughters, Libby Anita Steel, Angela Gail Powell and Laura Leigh Riley; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Anderson and Ronnie Anderson and sister, Patsy Lou Edwards all of Benton, KY
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by brother, Billy Joe Anderson, sister, Deloris Ann Edwards. His parents were the late Randol and Thelma Rudolph Anderson.
Per Mr. Anderson's request, there will be no funeral services or visitation.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY.
