Michael William Thouin, 47, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015, peacefully at his home from a heart attack.
Mr. Thouin was born on November 11, 1967 in Westfield, Massachusetts, the son of the late Henry William Thouin, Jr. and Gail Brundige Thouin.
Mr. Thouin was the owner of The Pool Doctor in Kingsport and had served many in the Tri-Cities region. He attended the Tri-Cities Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Thouin was preceded in death by one sister, Kory Yueng.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-one years, Sharon Courtney Thouin; son, Daniel Thouin and wife Lacy, of Kingsport, TN; one brother, Hank Thouin, III and wife Robin, of Kingsport, TN; father and mother-in-law, Ken and June Courtney, of Church Hill, TN; sister-in-law, Amy Sanders and husband Mike, of Blountville, TN; several aunts, uncles and cousins; nieces and nephews, Austin Long, Sydney Long, MacKenzie Sanders, Abigail Thouin, Thomas Thouin, Jessica Yueng and Michaela Yueng; and his beloved pets.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at the East Lawn Funeral Home.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Michael William Thouin will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 7:00pm in the East Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gene Mermilliod officiating.
