RUSSELL FISCHER, 51, of Beulah, died Monday, August 25, 2014, at Sakakawea Medical Center, Hazen. Services will be held at 11:00 AM CDT, Friday, August 29, 2014, at Barbot Funeral Home, Beulah, with Pastor Mary Lou Aune officiating. Burial will follow at the Beulah City Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday at Barbot Funeral Home. Russell was born on September 12, 1962, in Billings, MT, the son of Rose Mary Fischer. Together they moved to North Dakota when he was just a few months old. He was raised and educated in Beulah. Russell had various jobs throughout his life including, operating heavy equipment, working for the city of Beulah and most recently working for Beulah Lumber for the past 11 years. Russell loved to hunt and fish and was also known to be very artistic. He was a gun enthusiast. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always had something witty to say. He is survived by five aunts; LaVonne (Paul) Mueller of Beulah, Dorothy Becher of Glen Ullin, Wanda (Paul) Hartman of Billings, MT, Esther Fischer and Arlys Fischer both of Bismarck; numerous cousins. Russell was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Mary Fischer.
