George Kenneth Hemphill, Jr.

George Kenneth Hemphill Jr. died Jan 15 of age related causes in McAllen, TX at age 78. He was born Feb 20, 1936 in Pawhuska, OK to George and Elva Hemphill. He married Jean Millhollen in 1955, Marlene Petersen in 1967 and Bess Pless in 1992.
He is survived by his son Richard, daughter Kathryn, stepsons Jamey and Greg Petersen, grandchildren Jennifer and Jeffrey Hemphill, and brother Louis Hemphill. His youngest brother Robert preceded him in death in 1978.
George served in the Air Force and was a successful businessman in the Eugene area. He was a member of the Jaycees, Rotary Club and belonged to square dance communities in TX and OR.
