CANEY
Teresa “Tee” Ann (Deluna) Day, age 61, an Ardmore resident, formerly of Atoka, Okla., passed away on Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at Ardmore, at the age of 61 years, 7 months and 15 days. She was born on Thursday, June 11, 1953, at Talihina, Okla.


She attended grade school at Atoka and graduated from Caney High School. Tee was an office assistant/medical records at the Wellness Center in Ardmore. She was a member of Voca Baptist Church. She enjoyed running marathons and won first place in her age division in a marathon in 2014. Tee loved OK football, cooking for her kids and grandkids and spending time with them. Tee loved her friends and her dog, Newt, like a son.


She is survived by her daughters, Tracie Scott and husband, Brandon of Atoka, and April King of Atoka; son, Brandon King and fiancée, Chelsea Clark of Gainesville, Texas; siblings, Barbara Sue Freeman of Durant, Lee Watkins and wife, Joyce of Mead, Pam Watkins of Oklahoma City, Mike Watkins and wife, Lawana of Oklahoma City, and Marty Watkins of Durant; grandson, Lance Willeby and fiancée, Tracie of Caddo; granddaughters, Karlee Willeby and friend, Zach Burns of Atoka, Averi Scott of Atoka, and Alli Scott of Atoka; great-grandsons, Jax Willeby and Ryker Willeby of Caddo; special nieces, Rhonda Kay Glover and Nicole Watkins of Durant; special nephew, Jeff Watkins of Durant; two best friends, Phyllis Angelo and Tonya Felts of Ardmore; longtime friend, Dr. Baker Fore of Ardmore; father of her children, Carl King of Caney; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.


She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ruth Sexton; grandfather, David Sexton; brother, Joey Watkins; and uncle, Paul Sexton.


Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, at Voca Baptist Church in Caney, with Bro. Lee Watkins and the Rev. Mel Gaines officiating. Interment will be at Buffalo Creek Cemetery in Atoka.


Casket bearers: Hunter Manning, Bryan Manning, Larry Manning, Tyler Fernandez, Jerry Smith, Spencer Wallace and Mike Manning.


Honorary casket bearers: Lee Watkins, Marty Watkins, Mike Watkins, Zach Burns, Lance Willeby, Dr. Baker Fore, Jax and Ryker Willeby, Jeff Watkins, Casey Wallace, Todd Wilkinson and Newt.


Family night is from 6 to 8 this evening. Services under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service in­ Atoka.
