Jeanette was born on the family farm in 1924. She attended school at the local one room school house. After her eighth grade graduation she worked as a housekeeper in Wausau.

She moved to Beloit and where she gave birth to her oldest son. Life was difficult for a single parent in the 40's. She married in 1948 which ended in divorce.

In 1974 she married Bud Kosmerchock, the love of her life. Bud lovingly became the father her four children never had. He and Jeanette enjoyed traveling and dancing. Watching dad and mom waltz around the dance floor was heaven. They also enjoyed time spent in the Northwoods of Wisconsin with their children and grandchildren.

In 1984, although women did not receive any retirement benefits, Jeanette was the first woman to retire from Inofoods, formerly Thiel Cheese Factory.

Jeanette loved to bowl and she and Bud were avid golfers. Jeanette passed in 1994. She and Bud are buried in the Christus Mausoleum at Restlawn Memorial Park in Wausau, Wisconsin
