She was preceded in death by her husband William R. Aderholt.
Dot is survived by her sons Steve and Rick Aderholt; a daughter-in-law Marianne Stewart, two sisters, Donna and Joan, several nieces and nephew and her parrot Pepper.
She moved to San Antonio from Middletown, Pennsylvania in 1966 when she transferred to Kelly Air Force Base where she worked in the Personnel Department until retirement in 1987.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Matthew's Catholic Church 10703 Wurzbach Road, where she was among the original members; on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Internment will be at a later date.
