Beulah L. "Bea" Simpson, at the venerable age of 96 years 2 months and 8 days, was called home to be with our Lord on Thursday, January 22, 2015, with her daughters by her side at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster. She was born November 14, 1918, in Beetown Township, the daughter of August and Edna (Shanley) Christensen.
Bea married Sidney Simpson on June 15, 1934, in Dubuque. They lived in and around the Lancaster area, and after many years of farming, they moved to Lancaster. She worked at the D & D store for over twelve years.
Bea and Sidney enjoyed taking trips and camping with their grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, flowers, ducks, and going for rides in the car. Bea loved time spent with her family.
She was a member of Calvary Community Church in Lancaster.
