Corinne Swanger Hunter, age 90, lifetime resident of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on January 26, 2015. She was employed for nearly 50 years in the retail automobile business. She began her automotive bookkeeping for Ben Mizell Pontiac-Oldsmobile and later for Pete Mankins Pontiac, Cadillac, Nissan, Mercedes Benz. She retired at age 84.
Mrs. Turner was predeceased by her husband, John R. Hunter in 2003. A longtime member of St. James Episcopal Church, she is survived by one son, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Private family graveside services to be held at Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home on Moores Lane. Dr. John Monroe, her nephew, will conduct the graveside service.
