Leslie Moore Wallace Jr., 67, of Kuna, Idaho, was received by his savior December 16, 2014.
Les was born on March 24, 1947 in Boise, Idaho to Leslie and Lois Wallace. He will be interred on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Idaho State Veteran's Cemetery in Boise, Idaho. Guests should arrive at 10:45 am.
Les leaves behind his wife, Kimberley Wallace, and his three children, Shauna Wallace, Michelle Vaudrin, and Jaiden Wallace of Boise, Idaho; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild; two siblings, Sherrian Beck of Baconton, Georgia and Sandra McDonald of Kuna, Idaho; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Les served more than 23 years in the United States Army from June 1975 until June 1991, when he retired Sergeant First Class. His service included time in Vietnam as part of the 45th Chemical Company, 5th Infantry Division. Les's decorations, medals, and badges included the Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal 2D AWD, NCO Professional Development Ribbon with Num 3, Good Conduct Medal 6th AWD, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Service Star, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm Unit Citation, Valorous Unit Award, Overseas Service Ribbon with Num 4, Expert Marksmanship Badge Rifle, Marksman Marksmanship Badge Rifle, Driver Badge-Wheeled Vehicles, Mechanic Badge, U.S. Army Recruiter Badge, and the U.S. Army Gold Recruiter Badge with three Sapphire Stars.
