Shirley Ann Foote, 80 of Sulphur, passed away on January 26, 2015, in her residence. Shirley was born in Indian Bayou, LA, and lived in Sulphur for the past 56 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters, and served as a Eucharistic Minister. Shirley enjoyed reading and sewing and will be missed by all those who knew her.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 56 years, Franklin Foote of Sulphur; three daughters, Janine Stroderd and husband David of Broussard, Jill Guilbeau and husband Ben Guilbeau, Jr. of Lake Charles and Carla Atkinson and husband Maurice of Prosper, TX; a son, Craig Foote and wife Susan of Marrero, LA; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lois Terro of Indian Bayou, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Emma Meche Comeaux; and 2 brothers, James and Allen Ray Comeaux.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015, at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father Edward Richard officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, from 5-9 P.M. with a rosary at 7 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Thursday at 8 A.M. until time of the service. I lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur.
